Cranberry and hazelnut bread recipe

This fantastic meal makes the first on our list. It’s one of favorite morning meals. Very quick and satisfying. On a normal working day for me, I used to just take some cereals and milk in the morning and rush out. I end up enduring hunger till lunch. After I came across this recipe, my morning has become different. It’s quite easy to prepare, also fast in less than 2 hours. It is not a meal you would have to be looking for ingredients all around. Absolutely perfect for breakfast meals.

Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoonful of pure vanilla
  • 2 or 3 eggs, large
  • 1 cup of toasted & finely sliced hazelnuts
  • 1/3 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 1½ cups of fine cranberries
  • ½ tsp. of kosher salt
  • ¼ cup of light brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. of butter, unsalted
  • 1½ cup of flour, multi-purpose
  • 1 tablespoonful of freshly chopped orange zest
  • ½ cup of milk

Method of preparation

Sometimes, it won’t be possible to eat a meal for breakfast when the preparation is complex. You might have to start preparing it very early in the morning, getting all the ingredients may also be an issue. Well, Cranberry and Hazelnut Bread won’t take much of your time.

Step One

The first thing to do is prepare the oven. Before starting anything, it is advisable to get your oven ready at the right temperature. Preheat the oven at 350F. After this, you can move on to the next stage.

Step Two

Get your hazelnuts well spread on a big baking sheet. Since your oven is temperature-ready to be used. Place the hazelnuts in the oven for about 10-15 minutes. Don’t just leave it there, monitor it closely, checking it frequently until it starts perceiving a pleasant smell. The next thing is to rub the toasted hazelnuts with a clean towel. This is to help eradicate the skin. After that you have trim anyhow.

Step Three

You’ll need to spray your pan with a baking spray. Note that in order to make it faster. All materials needed for this meal should be at reach and available. Then lay the cooking pan with some parchment paper. Make sure the pan is properly covered in paper to allow for easy removal of your bread. Then spray your paper with cooking spray.

Step Four

It is time for some mixing. Get your big bowl ready, pour in your flour, sugars, salt and baking powder. Gently mix it together. Don’t mix it too much. We don’t want to over mix the ingredients. Get a smaller bowl, pour in your butter, milk, vanilla, eggs and orange zest. Also add some flour too. Mix properly but don’t mix too much.

Step Five

We’re almost getting there. Next thing is to wrap in the cranberries and hazelnuts. Insert a toothpick at the center of better and place it on the cooking pan. Bake for about an hour until the toothpick comes up.
